In SW-Ägypten werden kaum noch 1mm Niederschlag pro Jahr erreicht. D.h., es ist wahrscheinlich, dass über sehr lange Zeiträume überhaupt kein Tropfen Regen fällt. Aber auch hier kann es dann punktuell zu Starkregenereignissen kommen.
In SW-Egypt the annual rain reach hardly 1mm. Presumably, over many years there will be absolutely no rainfall. Independently from the general situation spotiness of strong rainfall may occur.
